Therefore, export goods containing wooden packaging must undergo pest control treatment before shipment, and fumigation is one of the methods of pest control

2.  What types of wooden packaging are required for fumigation (disinfection)

  Generally, it refers to the materials used for packaging, bedding, supporting and reinforcing goods, such as wooden cases, wooden crates, wooden pallets, dunnage wood, barrels, wooden mattresses, sleepers, wooden liners, wooden shafts, wood, etc. All logs should be fumigated and marked with IPPC logo

3. What are the fumigation methods?

There are two methods of fumigation: the use of drugs and heat treatment. The general methods for drug treatment are bromomethane and ethylene oxide
